In this series of blogs, we have come a long way. We started with defining the elements of a transformative purpose, dwelled over the processes of fast anticipation, quick decision-making, and speedy execution. In this and the following blog, I shall elaborate on ways for maintaining the momentum.
The objective is to make speed a value in our organization. Therefore, we need to have the foundation to sustain the momentum. The first step is to decode what has worked for us and helped us rapidly scale up. It is essential to prone the math. Otherwise, it is impossible to repeat our success. For example, the target customer segment, the ROI of the campaigns, the value proposition of our offering should be specifically identified. Only then do we have an economic engine that can deliver higher throughput with minimal inputs.
Even after we have tasted success, it is even more critical maintaining a high level of financial prudence and frugality in allocating resources. When the leader lives this value, it becomes the culture. Innovation always happens when we have constraints. Frugality prods the team to be more creative and enterprising.
In the next blog, I shall elaborate on the final 3 aspects of sustaining speed:
Using Dashboards
Being Flexible
Being close to the Customers
