If you break the goal into bite-sized tasks anything is possible. I recovered from COVID around the end of Oct'2020. This was the time I was feeling weak. I had lost muscles. I needed to set an inspiring and challenging goal to get back on the fitness path. I made a resolution to deadlift and squat 100 kg. It seemed a far stretched goal at that time.
From Nov 1, 2020, I began with light weights. Even 5Kg weights seemed heavy. But, I chugged along. The only commitment I made was not to miss a single day in the Gym.
Exactly after 102 days, I achieved my goal of 100 Kg. In fact, I lifted 110 Kg!
